We love the WEEKENDS! Especially the past 2!
Work is work, but I’m grateful to be able to providing for our family. Especially while Chris finishes his last year of college, It hardly seems real. I have such a sweet husband, daily we laugh together and tend to act ridiculous, but most of all smiling seems to be contagious.
We visited the Beautiful Timpanogos Temple for the first time!

Last weekend I had 4 ½ days off from work! Good times indeed. We went on lots of drives, cooked our first artichoke on an amazing chicken alfadro pizza, went on tons of walks to feed the ducks and seemed to have almost every hour booked with something to do!! Sat. morning we woke up early to prepare our talks. Shortly afterwards I met up with my friend from my old stake in Massachusetts. It’s craziness, I hadn’t seen her in over 4years! We went to the local farmers-market and as a tradition from last year’s weekly visits I insisted we should eat Mexican food. We did and 2hours worth of updating. No later then 3 it came to an end and we were soon on our way to SLC. Another friend from MA has recently moved here and Chris and I attended her moving in party.
As for Sunday seemed to come the quickest and we started the morning with giving talks at church! I’m usually more relaxed with speaking, but for various reasons I felt as if I was on my tip-toes balancing. Considering at one point I felt confident and comfortable enough to practically do that on the ice. Despite my emotions felt, I kept calm and was fluent with my testimony. Our topic was the Restoration and with our recent experiences as a family of 3, our gratitude for the restoration of the gospel is what keeps us enduring! Eternity is real because of it!!
Our weekends go too fast and hardly seem long enough, but thankfully there was Memorial Day.

That morning we drove to Huntsville cemetery to visit Devin’s grave. I’m so glad we did! The day wouldn’t have been complete without it. So often I wish we lived closer. We are still in unbelief to know something so precious I carried for us both was taken from our arms. As others that have been through similar trial has told us no matter the years, whether it’s 40, 60 or in our case 4months we will always think of our son. I’m just grateful there’s several days throughout the year that given us the opportunity to honor him.

The days spent at work hardly seem worth writing about so I’ll jump to this past weekend instead. It started with a rehearsal for my brother in-law Andy. He’s been taking voice lessons and really enjoys it. Chris and I are both so impressed, we give singing our best efforts, especially during FHE and despite how off-tune we maybe, it’s all good.
Afterwards we went to dinner with everyone and were treated by Chris’s Grandparents. By the time we got to sleep it was practically the next morning. However, for the first time in soooo long, I was able to actually sleep in. Since we didn’t have much planned before heading to the cabin, we decided to saddle the horse and go riding in their backyard that pretty much consist of a mountain, river and fields full of wild flowers! It was so pretty and the weather was amazing, blue skies, WHITE clouds (the kind most kids dream of admiring) and because it’s still early in the season there was plenty of greenery. It’s so much fun, Chris is my cowboy and I hope in time and with practice I’ll be his cowgirl. Seriously there's so much to be enjoyed!

(Browns Family Cat, we really like it's coloring if you can't tell from us taking a photo of it!)

Other than that, we just got back from a walk around the Temple and sleep is much needed! I’ll try my best to keep updating, there’s so much we do every day that it’s unfortunate I don’t have all the time to write about every moment, but these are just some of our best!
